Illinois Fluorite w/ Dogtooth Calcite

Unusual bicolor Illinois Fluorite from the late 80s to early 90s with a thin light blue growth over the striking golden yellow reminds me of some French Fluorite I’ve seen! One of the differences with French Fluorite locales and Illinois is this full head of dogtooth Calcite hair on top which we don’t see in European Fluorites in my experience. This dissolution Fluorite is also sprinkled with Chalcopyrite that left spots of purple where it contacted the Fluorite in situ! Even the Calcite crystals have phantom color zoning to them that I thought was pretty cool. This 391.41g piece is now available from my collection for 400 shipped!💦🍯👾
